DESCRIPTION:Speakers: A.O. Sitnichenko (Taras Shevchenko National Univers
ity of Kyiv)\nThe polarimetric inverse spectral problem for class of media
with singular eigenpolarizations (linear and circular) in terms of Genera
lized equivalence theorem approach was solved. The cases of phase and ampl
itude eigenvalues were considered. Two different bases of Generalized equi
valence theorem were observed. The types of anisotropy and the values of a
nisotropy parameters that provide the specified cases of singular eigenpol
 arizations were determined.\n\nhttps://indico.knu.ua/event/1/contributions

of developing the mathematical model of aircraft landing with the use of p
olarimetric landing system. The paper describe process scheme of aircraft
landing and the dependencies that describe the relationship between the me
asured polarimetric parameters and the parameters that describe the aircra
ft attitude and its deviation from the landing trajectory.\n\nhttps://indi

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Pavlo Ryabokrys ()\nIn this work the eigenvalue meth
od for calibration of Mueller-polarimeters is described. This method is co
mpletely mathematical and abstracted from the physical nature of the polar
ization state generator (PSG) and the polarimeter (analyser\, PSA). In thi
s method\, the PSG and the polarimeter are represented by their hardware\n
 4×4 matrices W and A \, respectively\, and their 32 coefficients are dete
rmined from three or four measurements performed on reference samples. Tho
se references are smooth isotropic samples and perfect linear polarizers.
Their optical characteristics are unambiguously determined during the cali
bration from the eigenvalues of the measured matrices.\n\nhttps://indico.k

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Roman Kurylenko ()\nThe eigenpolarizations orthogona
lity conditions for homogeneous anisotropic media which Mueller matrix des
cribes by the right and left polar forms have been obtained. The features
of the relation between parameters of phase and amplitude anisotropy at wh
ich the eigenpolarizations are orthogonal have been analyzed. The Mueller
matrix of arbitrary homogeneous anisotropic media with orthogonal eigenpol
arizations in terms of the polar decomposition theorem was found. The iden
tity of Mueller matrices for the right and left polar forms in the case of
  orthogonal eigenpolarizations has been shown.\n\nhttps://indico.knu.ua/ev

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Ye. А. Oberemok (Taras Shevchenko National Univers
ity of Kyiv)\nWe develop the polarimetric model and ground-based calibrati
on approach for the multi-spectral imager-polarimeter (MSIP)\, which is on
e of the two main instruments for the Aerosol-UA space mission [1]. MSIP i
s a polarimeter that serves to retrieve the optical and physical character
istics of the aerosol\, as well as the cloud parameters with wide field of
view. MSIP will perform measurements of three Stokes parameters I\, U\, Q
of the atmosphere and Earth-scattered solar radiation from a Sun-synchron
ous orbit in three spectral channels with polarization (410\, 555 and 865
nm) and two channels without polarization that splitted to eight wavebands
  (410\, 443\, 470\, 490\, 555\, 670\, 865\, and 910 nm).To describe polari
 zation systems\,we use self-consistent Stokes-Mueller formalism.\n\nhttps:
