Abstract

This paper deals with spectroscopy of plasma of electric arc discharge between tungsten and molybdenum electrodes. Spectrum of electric arc discharge between metal electrodes usually contains atomic lines of metals, which can be used for plasma diagnostics. In case of high-melting metals such as tungsten and molybdenum, not only line spectrum, but also continuous emission are observed. Further diagnostics of plasma are complicated due to superposition of the continuous emission and line spectrum. So, it is reasonable to study this continuous emission.
